You decide how gambling fits into your life, and this page is here to help you keep it that way. Below is practical advice, followed by a plain account of what this site can and cannot do for you.
Spending Limits: Decided Early
Decide the amount before you start and treat it as already spent. A figure chosen calmly in advance holds up better than one chosen mid-session, when wins and losses distort judgement. Thinking of the money as gone means a loss costs you nothing you were counting on.
Keep gambling out of borrowed money. Credit or loans turn entertainment into debt that outlasts the session and adds pressure to win it back.
Losing Streaks: Walk Away
Never chase a loss. Each bet is independent of the last, so raising stakes to recover money only increases how much you can lose. When the planned amount is gone, the session is over.
Take breaks. Stepping away interrupts the momentum of play and gives you a moment to check whether you are still enjoying it.
Outside Support: Act Sooner
Involve someone else early, as soon as gambling stops feeling like entertainment. Someone you trust can notice changes you might miss, and problems are easier to address before they grow. Every page of this site, this one included, carries links to five independent gambling-help organisations:
- BeGambleAware
- Gamble Aware
- Gambling Therapy
- G GamCare Gambling Support: Starts Here
- NCPG
These are the only non-commercial outbound links on the site. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, are set to nofollow and open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when you follow them.
Age Restriction: Adults Only
Gambling is for people aged eighteen and over. That restriction is repeated throughout this site, including on the front page.
Site Boundaries: Stated Plainly
Controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion are things you arrange inside your own account at the destination. This site has no account, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch one on, check one or enforce one.
Nobody's age is verified here and no gambling takes place on this site; any check of that kind happens at the destination. No advertising or behavioural profiling network is present in these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader who has shown risky behaviour.
